Pacific Fuel Cell (PFC) is strategically positioned to meet
the increasing demand for graphite based bipolar plate (BPP). PFC manufactures traditional low temperature BPP's
and the company is capable of producing high temperature BPPs using SGL's BBP4 material.
The high temperature bipolar plate component is a new trend in the fuel cell market and is
suitable for stationary fuel cells and small vehicles (e.g., forklifts) which require increases in power and
efficiency.
PFC provides compression molding BPPs for
the high volume customer. In addition, PFC has the capability to produce BPPs by the low volume CNC process from
our pressed plates. Graphite plates can also be used as separators in the fuel cell system.
Pacific Fuel Cell can assist the customer from the development stage
to the high volume production stage of their products. PFC's Ohio Plant, located in the city of Willoughby,
is designed to produce quality products with competitive pricing.
